The retrospective was called "If Water Lives in a Well...", and it featured unknown works by the author, which were intended to demonstrate the folk origins of his work.

Gouaches, collages, drawings, watercolors and much more that was in the private collection of the artist's family were presented to the public for the first time. The exhibition of more than 80 exhibits was located on two floors of the wing of the Museum of Modern Art on Gogolevsky Boulevard, building 10/2. And in order for the collection to look as aesthetically pleasing as possible, everything was decorated with paints of the English brand Little Greene, which can always be found in the salons of the Manders company.
