Apartment that turned into a chalet

The work was not easy, but the result is amazing - instead of a two-story apartment, the owners now have a luxurious chalet. Houses in the popular chalet style are especially popular in winter. After all, they are simply made for spending cozy evenings with a large group of friends in a spacious living room after long walks or skiing. Once upon a time, this was a two-story apartment with an area of 120 square meters. The designers had to completely redesign it and adapt it for the convenience of the owners. The space had to be expanded and made visually lighter, and for this, some of the beams and floors were removed. The carpenters' work did not end there: for example, a staircase was designed and built from scratch. In addition to wide, comfortable spaces, the house has enough darkened corners. Their problem was solved with the help of different lighting scenarios and the creation of cozy recreation areas. The house also has a lot of sleeping places - it can easily accommodate the host family and numerous guests. The design focuses on it: bright accents in the form of decorative pillows and furniture upholstery make the atmosphere more festive and cozy.
