Lamps from nylon own hands: manufacturing technology

1

Fixtures made of capron with their own hands are appropriate inany interior. Such lighting can decorate the mantelpiece, place a luminous bouquet at the head of the bed in the bedroom, put the composition on a table in the nursery or study. Nylon LampNylon lamp will be appropriate in any typeinterior and will be able to replace both a conventional lamp and candles for a romantic dinner. The luminaire made of capron will be a successful addition to a romantic evening in the kitchen instead of traditional candles. For manufacturing, it takes a couple of hours of time, a minimum of tools, consumables.

Preparatory work

At the first stage, it is necessary to choose a multicoloredkapron, medium hardness wire, sintepon or cotton wool for stamens, colored paper. From the tools you need scissors, a screwdriver. In the absence of a multi-colored capron, this material can be replaced with an organza or painted with billets from body tights. The choice of colors in a bouquet is individual for specific conditions: Varieties of monophonic capron.

  • in a blooming apricot, LEDs will be maximally open, the lamp will turn out bright, light yellow color will be required;
  • for each inflorescence of camellia will require a maximum number of blanks of petals (up to 20 pieces), but in one bud can accommodate 3-5 LEDs providing muted diffuse light;
  • in the camellias, inflorescences of various sizes (small in the upper part, increasing downwards) alternate with numerous leaves of a saturated green color;
  • in light-violet unrevealed buds of wisteria it is convenient to hide lamps from a garland;
  • in callas, LEDs are placed on the side of large stamens or replace them;
  • for gladioli need a colorful capron, the bouquet turns out large, so the lamp is placed in the lower third of the vertical space of the room (bedside table, coffee table);
  • buds irises, mekonopsis maximally open lighting, so the lamps of these colors are suitable for bright lighting of recreation areas.

For a mixed bouquet of several varieties of flowerswill need more paint, but the composition will be guaranteed a high artistic value. In any case, a bouquet with LED fillings made of capron will become a self-sufficient element of the interior. Back to contents</a>

Making a bouquet

The technology of making each flower, regardless of the plant variety, is as follows: The sequence of manufacturing lilies from capron.

  • after studying a living original or its high-quality photo, the flower is visually divided into separate elements: petals, stamens, leaves, stem;
  • for the frame of the petals is better suited copper wire, giving the original edging perimeter, or multi-colored (in the tone of the color of the petal);
  • For the framework of leaves, green wire is usually used (polymer coating of decorative material modification);
  • one end of a piece of wire of the required length(it is chosen by calculation, it is not necessary to cut out the material in advance) wraps around a cup, glass, any other object of a suitable diameter, turns a few turns;
  • after removing the blank from the template, the leaves are given the desired shape (oval, heart, drop) without changing the flat shape;
  • then a nylon is cut on the frame, cut off at the hinge, pulled together by a colored thread;
  • if necessary, the petals, the leaves are painted by dipping in the paint or by spraying, applying the brush in the desired color;
  • if necessary, varnish, transparent glue along the perimeter is fixed "pollen" (shiny powder, as in New Year's toys);
  • After the workpieces dry up, they give them the necessary volumetric shape.

From the blanks of the petals buds are collected withinserted in the middle of the composition with pestles. Pestles are usually made of pieces of wire with cotton wool, sintepon beads on the end, also covered with nylon, caught from below by a thread. On this preparatory part of the construction of flowers from caprone is considered to be over. The luminaires are collected from the blanks on a common stem: To fasten flowers in a bouquet it is possible a wire or a special floristic tape.

  • to the multi-colored wire, buds, leaves directed in different directions, are alternately tied up with a colored thread;
  • the spatial geometry of the individual elements is adjusted as necessary;
  • The complexity of the design depends entirely on the chosen flower variety.

After composing the bouquet, it remains to establishinside it LEDs or a normal garland, hide the power wire as much as possible hidden, position the composition near the outlet or the power unit. Back to contents</a>

Arrangement of composition

For the convenience of home designersmanufacturers produce a floral tape that will help to assemble a lamp from a nylon bouquet. At a small power of incandescent lamps, closed luminaires are possible (Fig. 1). In these designs, the petals form a sphere, the electric wire is led down through the tube, decorated with a floral tape or a colored thread. As a support is used kashpo filled (colored rubble). The luminaires are compact, provide a sufficient intensity of illumination, the adjustment of which is achieved by changing the number of LEDs. Kapron is a combustible material, therefore caution is necessary when using these household appliances. It is not recommended to leave them turned on in the absence of users, use without the built-in switch in the cord, at a considerable distance from the outlet. Picture 1. It is not necessary to place the petals close to the lamp; capron is a combustible material. To give the material the required color, several staining techniques are used. The best quality is provided by the paint used in factories that produce women's stockings. The material is lowered for an hour in a mixture of coloring with detergent (6 tablespoons), then rinsed three times in soapy water, cold water. A high-quality budget option (there are no divorces, the fabric does not stain the hands) is the staining of capron with compounds for wool or cotton. Each package of such a dye is mixed with three tablespoons of salt, two - acetic essence. Stockings fall into a liquid heated to 40 degrees for a quarter of an hour, then heated together with it to 75 degrees, remain for half an hour. Rinsing is also the final operation. Despite the natural origin of the dye, heating the fabric to extreme temperatures leads to shrinkage of the material. Back to contents</a>

Installation of lighting elements

The final stage of the lightingdevice in the form of a flower bouquet from kapron own hands is the installation of lamps or LEDs inside the flowers. Leaves are usually not illuminated, giving the necessary contrast. If necessary, we make a chandelier using the same technology: Figure 2. A kapron chandelier with a matt bottom cover creates a soft light in the room that does not load the eyes.

  • from a more rigid wire a frame is constructed;
  • in contrast to the flower bouquet, the framework frames in this case are fixed to each other by wire, and not by a thread;
  • after the construction is tightened with one or several layers of capron, it is painted in any convenient way;
  • A standard cartridge is installed in the upper part of the finished lampshade, the supply cable is retracted.

To hang a homemade chandelier, you needProvide a wire ring, which is masked by the factory lampshade. If necessary, you can use the ready-made junction of the chandelier to the ceiling lining. Incandescent lamps, in contrast to LEDs, have a more intense heating, so the close proximity to them of the capron shell lampshade, the use of lamps over 25 watts is unacceptable. Another variant of a capron chandelier is a design (Figure 2) with a matt bottom cover, side walls, covered with a black capron with floral ornament. It creates a muted light in the room, does not load the eyes, giving them rest. </ ul>
