Sauna masterpiece: this you have not seen

How to steam yourself with health benefits and getat the same time aesthetic pleasure? What will help relieve fatigue and invigorate for a long time? The authors of a unique project, which we will tell you about today, found the answers to these questions. The main thing in a sauna is its presence. And if you delve into the nuances, then in fact, many things are important: the materials from which it is made, the size and correct location of the steam room, the presence of a swimming pool nearby. It is in its cool water that it is so pleasant to plunge after the scorching heat of the steam room. A group of architects Partisans - Alexander Josephson, Pooya Baktash, Jonathan Friedman, Shamir Panchal and Ivan Vasyliv - were able to create a real design masterpiece from such a prosaic structure and at the same time comply with all the conditions important for this process. They designed and built an unusual custom-made grotto sauna for a private individual, placing it on a rocky, picturesque shore at the very edge of Lake Huron, on Sans Souci Island, near Vancouver, Canada. From the outside, the structure is unremarkable and looks like an ordinary box the size of a large container, with an area of 72 square meters. All the most amazing things are inside.A stunning sculpture has been created here.a space where there is not a single right angle, all sides are rounded and smoothly flow into each other. The stylization of the grotto was brilliant: the entrance is made in the form of a manhole, the oval windows of a bizarre shape hint at their supposedly natural origin. In fact, the team of architects had to work hard to develop the drawings from which all the solid wood parts were manufactured on digital machines at the factory. There, a sauna-grotto was assembled from partsalready in the form of a box, it was delivered by water to a pre-selected location. The concrete foundation allowed the structure to be securely installed, and only then did work begin on arranging the interior space. The architects and designers who created everythingconditions for excellent relaxation, experienced an incredible feeling of inspiration, which was eventually embodied in the interior of the object. Of course, as a material it was possible to choose only something environmentally friendly, beautiful, practical and durable. Therefore, the interior decoration is made of local cedar, which is extremely resistant to decay, has a warm shade, a delightful aroma and is pleasant to the touch. Double-chamber bags are used to decorate the windows, and a layer of aluminum foil placed between the wooden panels performs an insulating function. In general, when making this sauna, it was necessary to resort to the help of several construction and finishing companies, since many, if not all, solutions here are unique, including steel structures, heating and ventilation systems. In addition to all the above advantages,As a result, it was possible to comply with a very important condition: not to invade nature, but to merge with it, harmoniously fitting the unique creation of human hands into a unique, very beautiful landscape. The place where the unusual sauna was installed is famous for its magical sunsets, which you want to admire again and again. Solitude, closeness to nature, freshness and beauty - all this is now at the complete disposal of the customer of the project. Perhaps, you can call him a happy person! By the way, the climatic features of Canadaare very similar to those in which the population of the central and eastern parts of our country lives. Therefore, if you have a dream of becoming the owner of such a sauna, it's a small matter: find a suitable place, buy a plot of land on the shore of a reservoir, bring Siberian cedar wood and find talented architects and designers. And believe me, there is nothing impossible about this. partisanprojects.com
