If your summer cottage has such a common phenomenon as an old, battered wooden fence that spoils the mood of you and your guests, it's time to act! Of course, you can simply paint it (again or for the first time), but this technique is quite banal. It is better to create an original decor from improvised flowerpots. As a result, you will not only transform the appearance of the fence itself, but also get a beautiful vertical flower bed.
Having obtained the jars that will serve as flowerpots, we begin to modify them. First, remove the labels, if any. Then drill several holes in the bottom for drainage.
We paint the jars in our favorite color using spray paint. First, we apply it to the outside and let it dry. Then we turn the jars over and paint the inside of each one.
After the paint has dried completely, we attach the cans to the fence using a screwdriver.
Don't complicate the process by preparing the markings,This is not a flower show. Your goal is to create a charming, “live” decor. In our example, the jars were fixed in a checkerboard pattern, but you can give your vertical flower bed the look you like best.
Now let's start creating the flower bed.To do this, fill the jars with soil to about half and plant beautiful flowers or herbs in this soil. Don't forget to water your new favorites so that they take root better.
Now your fence has gone from being dull and unsightly to being original and charming, and your property now has an additional flowerbed.
