Wood, marble and black ceilings: loft area of 220 squares

Noble materials, natural colorsand floor-to-ceiling windows — in her new project, Barcelona designer Katy Schiebeck organically combined minimalism and elegant modernism Spanish designer Katty Schiebeck is known for her unique style: her minimalist interiors lack unnecessary details and bright colors, but in almost all of them you can find elements of modernism, unique designer items and natural noble materials. The spacious loft with its own garden in Barcelona, which we are showing you today, embodies all the features characteristic of Katy's interiors. The loft interior uses a lot of cold colorsmaterials: concrete, metal and glass. It would seem that such a combination should be very lifeless and uncomfortable, but the designer neutralizes these feelings with a large amount of natural light, the texture of textiles, warm beige accents, wooden elements and greenery growing in the courtyard and, thanks to this, clearly visible from the house. The interior's color palette is entirely made up of natural colors: graphite black, white, gray and dark brown act as a backdrop for blue, beige, dark blue and dark green accents. The bathroom is the only roomentirely done in monochrome. This decision is justified by the fact that textures, shapes and lines come to the fore here: a marble shower partition with an amazing natural pattern is adjacent to untreated concrete, white square and spectacular black furniture and plumbing.
