The design of a small 2-room apartment in a minimalist style allowed us to get a fairly cozy space from a cramped, uncomfortable home that meets all modern requirements. Everything is based on a carefully thought-out architectural concept. All the partitions between the rooms were demolished. One room became a single whole with the kitchen and part of the hallway. Only the children's bedroom remained a completely isolated space.
For the design, they used mostlysnow-white color. It makes the room more spacious and brighter. Only in the children's room they added a little orange, and in the common area - black. Among all the rooms, the bathroom stands out. Its unusual finish and rich bright color turned the space into something truly exclusive and attractive. Original lighting and textile decor also add coziness and harmony here.
Kitchen-living room
Just like everywhere else, here it is predominantgray and white color scheme. The connecting element between the living room and the kitchen is a large soft sofa. At night, it can be unfolded and turned into a comfortable sleeping place for the owners to rest on. There is a rack and a spacious wardrobe nearby.
They decided to dilute the minimalist style a little by placing an intricate pendant lamp above the dining table. In the living room there is a strict, but surprisingly soft and comfortable armchair.
The kitchen furniture front is white, so it hardly stands out against the walls and is not eye-catching.
Children's
When remodeling a 2-room apartmentKhrushchev-era apartments only the children's room was left secluded. Its design is also done in restrained white and gray tones. And the ochre-colored sofa makes the atmosphere warmer and more cozy.
Along one of the walls, a whole storage system is installed. A bed is built in here, which can be removed during the day, thus freeing up space.
The homework table and piano are completely white. Thanks to this color of furniture, the room does not seem cluttered at all.
Bathroom
The bathroom was decorated using different tiles, which made the room more spacious and dynamic.
All plumbing in the house meets the latest requirements.
There is a separate niche for the bathroom.
