Как смириться с видом комнаты, которая вам совсем don't like it, but which your guests often use? No way. It needs to be redone, and urgently. We will tell you how it was done quickly and with minimal costs in one of the American houses Gillian Warner moved into her husband's house after marriage. A creative person, with her own aesthetic tastes and passions, she actively took up changing the furnishings of the house. And if in most rooms it was enough to simply replace the furniture, hang pictures, choose carpets, then the guest bathroom required radical changes. Gillian was faced with the task of choosing the material, finding contractors. And all this - with minimal costs. The first step was a trip to the shops. As Gillian herself admits, she felt sick from the huge number of tiles of all kinds, sizes, quality, and most importantly - the crazy price. However, as you know, he who seeks will always find. The solution was found in the form of gray tiles with veins, which Gillian called "gray in apples". The price was an order of magnitude lower, and most importantly - the quality was quite acceptable. The wall above the bathtub and the floor were finished with these tiles. Thus, the gray color began to be effectively shaded by the white plumbing. To make the color transition smoother, a white veined marble countertop with a sink was chosen. To achieve maximum effect, grey grout was used, which matches the tiles well and, most importantly, does not accumulate dirt in the seams. Our opinion:— If you need grout for tiles in the kitchen or bathroom, it is better to choose epoxy. It is more expensive than cement, but it is durable, moisture-resistant, does not accumulate dirt. It lasts a very long time. Gillian chose taps made of matte nickel. In her opinion, they are the most suitable for the chosen design. The most expensive purchase was an acrylic bathtub. Gillian liked its design and modern drainage system. Our opinion:— The modern market offers a huge selection of bathtubs. Acrylic bathtubs have a great price-quality ratio compared to many others. They are aesthetically pleasing, durable, stable, and heat-resistant. Their service life is, of course, shorter than that of cast iron bathtubs, but they are also much more affordable. Fish fish fish The problem was choosing paint for the walls. They used to be biscuit-colored, as Gillian claims. She spent a long time looking for that one shade that would fit into the overall composition of the bathroom. And she found it. Behr marquee paint in the color “silver city” was perfect. Our opinion:— If you decide to paint the walls in the bathroom, approach the selection of paint very carefully. It should be not only moisture-resistant, but also antibacterial. Any stains should be easy to remove from it. And what is important, it should have an aesthetic appearance. Otherwise, staying in the bathroom will not bring you any pleasure. Since the area of the bathroom is , we had to choose something very compact from the furniture. The most acceptable option both in size and design was a white dressing table with the same marble tabletop. The lower part of the table is closed, and it is used as a cabinet for various bathroom accessories. The overall picture is completed by the colors of silver.beads and lamps that are attached to a brushed nickel pendant. Note: the switches and sockets in the bathroom are the same color, as are the handles on the table-cabinet.
