This young man's apartment will refute all stereotypes! This apartment is located in Minsk, Belarus. It is relatively small - two rooms on 69 square meters. And the owner and customer is a young 26-year-old programmer. The designers had to create a cozy and modern atmosphere in it, referring to the theme of an anti-cafe, and Anastasia Sheveleva and Alexander Malinin from INT2 architecture did an excellent job. Redevelopment
Load-bearing partitions that are in the apartmentinitially, it is planned to dismantle. They overload the space, and the existing layout does not meet the set tasks. It was decided to make the space of the apartment open: the kitchen, the living room represent one single zone, as in a studio apartment. Only the bedroom and the bathroom will be isolated.The apartment is zoned quite interestingly.bedroom. It is limited by a glass partition, which allows sunlight into the room. If you need to isolate it, you can simply draw the curtains. But this partition will also be made by hand. Like some of the furniture, it is planned to weld it from a metal profile.
Customer's wishes
The customer's main wish was to createcozy interior in the spirit of anti-cafe. The apartment will serve as a home for the young man for the next few years and he wants to spend them in a comfortable atmosphere that sets him up for rest, inspires and, if necessary, allows him to work or invite guests.
Furniture
Many pieces of furniture that will decorate thisapartment, will be welded from a metal profile. Among them are the cabinet in the living room, the bar shelf, the dining table and the coffee table. The presence of such industrial elements perfectly matches the given theme of the anti-cafe. Alexander Malinin, architect: - However, these are not the only elements of industrial style in the project: the air ducts are intentionally open and painted silver; the lamp by the chair will be made from a vintage barn pulley; the door will serve as the headboard of the bed; and the wall of the bedroom will be decorated with an old board with graffiti; the partition between the living room and the hallway will be laid out of two types of hollow brick.
Lighting
The project uses overhead ceiling lightslamps from Сentrsvet. This helps to maintain the height of the ceilings. Above the dining table and in the bedroom there are pendant lamps. And additional lighting - a Jielde table lamp in the bedroom, a Maisons du monde work lamp. The lamp by the chair in the living room is made from a vintage barn pulley.
Color
The color scheme for the apartment is quite appropriatecharacteristic of the given style - the contrast of white and shades of gray. And bright accessories place the necessary color accents. Notes of coziness are added by the wooden floor and light-colored tabletop. The balcony will have panoramic windows and will be decorated with the same wood as the floor in the apartment. There is a place to store a bicycle. The apartment has a separate bathroom.The toilet is decorated in black with snow-white plumbing, which looks very impressive. And the bathroom is tiled with white tiles and decorated with black elements: a washing machine, a heating radiator and black tiles.
