If you are looking for ideas to create a simple inmaking decor, this master class is what you need. We will tell you how to make an original sconce from ordinary Whatman paper in just a few minutes. Our master class today once again proves that having imagination compensates for a lack of funds. It turns out that in order to create such an original and effective wall lamp, you only need a sheet of white Whatman paper, glue, double-sided adhesive tape and a few minutes of free time. The technology for creating a sconce is so simple that you will probably want to make such a lamp with your own hands, even if you are not constrained in funds and have everything in the house: the temptation to feel like a real master is very great. Before you start working, make sure thatthat the bulb of your future lamp is energy-saving (such a bulb heats up slightly during operation). If you prefer incandescent lamps, for fire safety reasons you should refrain from using paper lampshades. Step 1 From a sheet of Whatman paper, cut out 3 rectangles of the dimensions shown in the photo. Then bend the side edges of each of them by approximately 2 cm.Step 2 Using a pencil, draw an arc in eachcorner of each rectangle. You can use a plate as a stencil. On the folded part of the Whatman paper, from the point that is the end of the arc, draw an oblique line to mark the "flaps" that will act as fasteners. Then take scissors and cut the edges of the rectangles in accordance with the applied drawing. To do everything correctly, check the images in the photographs. Step 3 Place the elements one on top of the other, from largest to smallest. Note that each subsequent one should be located strictly in the center of the previous one. Carefully glue the "flaps" together and leave them to dry.Step 4 Once the glue has dried, begin creating the fastening system. Apply double-sided tape along the entire length of the "flap".Carefully glue the structure to the wall where the lampshade with the energy-saving light bulb is already attached. Glue first one side, then the other. And now your sconce is ready! All that's left is to try it out. Notice how in our example the energy-saving yellow light bulbs transformed the originally white lamps. You'll get the same chameleon effect when using lamps of other colors. ohohblog.com
