The interior color palette is based on softunobtrusive combination of ivory and lilac shades. Sometimes they are only slightly outlined, as if with light watercolor strokes, and sometimes they appear clearly, acquiring depth and color saturation.
The living room and dining room are combined into oneAn open space is two zones at different ends of one room, connected conceptually and stylistically. The refined design of Barbara Barry and Baker furniture looks perfect in the living room interior. The main place here is occupied by an exquisite antique fireplace made of Carrara marble. The center of the dining room composition is a magnificent dining set with a large oval table made of solid wood. Both zones are decorated with giant snow-white conical chandeliers. Weightless in appearance, they seem to be made of feathers or scales. But the most amazing thing here is the enfilade of mirrors: huge antique mirrors in the dining room and living room, located opposite each other, give rise to a fascinating play of reflections. This technique creates the illusion of infinity, repeatedly “multiplying” the space.
The kitchen was chosen from the Giulia Novars factory.The wooden dining table and the sofa, upholstered in grey leather, were custom-made according to the author's sketches. The light grey shade of the upholstery is an interesting combination with the wooden and white facades. A mirror was used as a kitchen apron, which creates additional volume. The floor is beautifully tiled in a traditional checkerboard pattern, repeating the tone of the wood trim.
The master bedroom is decorated in shadeslilac. The wall of the room is decorated with antique mirrors from the Art Deco era. The bed with an original headboard from the French brand Mis En Demeure is made to order. The room is illuminated by a magnificent antique chandelier.
Children's rooms meet all the attributesclassic interiors - stucco cornices with an ornate pattern, a crystal antique chandelier in the center of a stucco rosette, a light, elegant canopy made of beautiful tulle over the bed. Items acquire a somewhat modern sound, for example, a wooden bed with high perforated headboards. The main tone remains the color of ivory, and shades of lilac are reflected in textiles.
The master bathroom is designed in ivory colorbones, which perfectly matches the gold-brass fittings. Part of the wall in the shower and bathtub area is decorated with mosaics. The shower itself, like the washbasin taps, is made in a vintage style. The main decoration of the room is a luxurious mirror in an elegant brass frame with a pattern.
As for the materials, herewere guided by considerations of practicality and durability, but at the same time also by aesthetic content. For example, the paint was chosen from the famous British brand Farrow&Ball, textiles from Holland & Sherry, Fox Linton, J. Robert Scott, De Le Cuona, wallpaper from Fromental. Chandeliers in the bathrooms are from Eichholtz, Hickory Сhair. In addition, the doors and all built-in furniture were made to order according to the author's sketches.
