In Chicago, for just $10, you can rent a room recreated from the artist's famous series of paintings, "Bedroom in Arles"
Dutch painter from 1888 to 1889painted three paintings of his room in Arles. These works are now housed in the Vincent Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
The latter has organized a special exhibition where all three versions of the film will be on display for a period of time. This will be the first time such an event has taken place in North America.
To celebrate such a unique event,The Art Institute of Chicago has recreated this room in real life and is offering to rent it overnight for just $10. Art lovers will be able to feel like they are inside the canvas of a famous post-impressionist artist. Bright colors and antique furniture will give an authentic feeling of the south of France in the late 19th century.
