Sicilian warmth, minty coolness of Tiffany color, furniture made of natural wood - this interior became a real paradise for a young businessman and his companion, the owner of a small dental clinic. The Mediterranean style is rarely found in Moscow interiors. Often, due to the lack of light and warmth, capital apartments are decorated in the Scandinavian style - bright, laconic, functional. But this loving couple decided to create a Mediterranean paradise in their apartment. Because for them, such an environment has a special, romantic subtext, which they willingly talked about.
Love story
Five years ago they met on the islandSicily. She came to relax with a friend, he - for a business meeting. Their romance turned into a real tornado of feelings. They realized that they could not live without each other. Returning to their native Moscow, they bought a small shared apartment, only 52 square meters. In order to always keep warm Sicilian moments in their memory, the young businessman and successful dentist decided to turn their home into a real paradise on Earth. To implement their plans, they turned to designer Vadim Matevosyanets. Vadim Matevosyanets, interior designer He mastered the profession of interior designer at the Moscow State Institute of Culture and Arts, as well as at the Modern School of Design. Maximum functional area
Vadim was immediately inspired by the positive energy, which came from this young married couple. Taking into account the wishes of his customers, he squeezed maximum functionality out of a small area, having worked hard on the layout of the apartment. In order to create a sense of freedom here, the designer got rid of the corridors. The area was successfully redesigned due to the merger of the toilet and bathroom, as well as the studio-like nature of the space - Vadim combined the kitchen and living room. A separate wish of the customers was a dressing room - the husband has a lot of business suits, and the wife likes to buy new items in fashion stores. Vadim took this into account, and he managed to allocate a separate room for storing things.
Mint is an alternative to vanilla
This love story is presented from the very first phrasesin front of us in vanilla-marshmallow color. However, this did not affect the interior in any way. The residents of this apartment are businesslike, serious and practical people. They do not like frills or vanilla shades. They like quality things, which is why all the furniture is made of natural wood, and the walls are painted in Tiffany color. This shade was chosen for a reason - the owner is crazy about this jewelry brand. Vadim did not ignore this hobby of hers and used the color very successfully, playing it up quite favorably for the interior. Vadim Matevosyants, interior designer: - The color scheme was already in my plans from the beginning. The Tiffany-colored wall plays an important role in this object both for the interior itself and for its owners. It expands the rectangular room and serves as a bright spot in the apartment, while satisfying the wishes of the customer. The main walls are painted in a light shade and serve as a kind of background. I chose lamps with warm light, they break up the cold shade of the mint wall and make the rooms cozy. verdiz.ru
Current trends
It is interesting that the walls throughout the apartment are painted. There is no wallpaper or other types of covering in any room, except for the bathroom, which is tiled. According to Vadim, this is a very popular technique today, allowing you to refresh or change the interior quickly and without much expense. This option is suitable for people who are not used to standing still and like to experiment, including with themselves and their interior. Vadim Matevosyants, interior designer: - The pillows in the living room were chosen to support the Tiffany-colored wall. They also echo the kitchen apron. All these details unite the composition. verdiz.ru
Everything worked out!
According to Vadim, the interior turned out wellharmonious, interesting and full. There is nothing superfluous here, and at the same time a large number of storage systems fit into a small area. This new interior brought the owners of the apartment into complete delight, as they value functionality and love it when everything in the house is “on the shelves”. It is interesting that there are practically no cabinets in the apartment.
