Children love to draw on wallpaper.Make this activity legal! In our master class, we will tell you how to make coloring wallpaper for a child's room yourself in just half an hour. All parents know that children's creative impulses need to be supported. But when it comes to drawing on wallpaper, the desire to encourage the child involuntarily gives way to the desire to give him a good spanking. Just keep calm! There is a compromise solution to this situation: special coloring wallpaper. They are ordinary white wallpaper with outline images that can be colored with colored pencils or felt-tip pens. However, such wallpaper is not cheap, and starting a renovation in a child's room, even a cosmetic one, for the sake of being able to draw on the walls is not entirely reasonable. We suggest you make temporary coloring wallpaper yourself, similar to the famous Frames wallpaper from Graham & Brown. To make such wallpaper, we will need:
- Matte white self-adhesive paper (removable) in rolls,
- Black marker,
- scissors,
- Ruler,
- compass.
And, of course, a set of colored markersor pencils, which you present to your child specifically for drawing on his updated art wall. Select and mark on the wall an area for pasting temporary wallpaper-coloring. Do not forget that it should be within the child's reach. Cut out the required number of strips from the roll. Lay them out on the floor and, using a marker, ruler, compass and imagination, draw various frames on them. Do not worry too much about the evenness of the lines and the correct proportions: the drawings should look slightly careless. To encourage your child and let him know that this wallpaper is specifically designed for drawing, paint a few frames yourself before you stick the wallpaper to the wall. Carefully stick the strips of self-adhesivepaper to the wall. This should be done by two people: one person peels off the backing, and the other straightens and presses the paper to the wall. If the roll is marked removable, the process of pasting the wallpaper will be much easier, since you will be able to adjust the location of the stripes. In addition, this type of self-adhesive paper can later (once all the pictures are painted) be easily peeled off the wall without damaging the finish. That's all!Invite your child into the room and enjoy their surprise and delight! Then give them some pre-prepared art supplies so they can start drawing on the walls without fear of getting scolded.hellowonderful.co
