The New Year's parties are behind us, and sowant to prolong the holiday feeling. A little gold confetti on your favorite cup will lift your spirits and awaken memories of magical moments. If you involve children, they will be very pleased. Holidays fly by quickly, and there is nothing you can do about it. But it is entirely within our power to maintain the festive mood. A modest but elegant daily reminder of the magical lights of a cheerful New Year's Eve can help with this. What could it be? Well, for example, your favorite coffee cup decorated with gold confetti. Or your child's favorite cup. Or maybe you want to transform the favorite cups of the whole family?
It's easy to create such beauty. You will need:
- white cup,
- A stable adhesive for decoupage (Mod Podge),
- golden confetti (they can be purchased in the shops of goods for creativity or cut out of the New Year's garlands on their own),
- alcohol,
- soft brush.
First, wipe the surface of the cup with alcohol.Then apply a thin layer of decoupage glue to the cup. Use the same brush to apply confetti. You can completely cover the cup with gold circles or come up with an original pattern. In our case, the confetti is concentrated at the base of the cup and spreads out to the top. Children usually decide for themselves where exactly to place the decor, their imagination is enough for several people. And you will only have to stop them in time so that at least the inner surface of the cup remains free of glitter.
After you are done with the applicationconfetti, let the glue dry. Then cover the entire surface of the cup with glue again, and do this two more times. Is your festive cup ready? The next day you will be able to drink coffee from it, but you will have to wait a few more weeks to wash it in the dishwasher. At first, it is better to limit yourself to hand washing.
