This apartment in a townhouse in St. Petersburg belongs toa young and very creative couple. And, of course, first of all, the lifestyle of the owners was reflected in the interior Natalia Yanson, interior designer and decorator: “I am convinced that design can and should be exclusive, created for a specific person or family with its unique idea of beauty and comfort. My client knows that his individuality and image will be reflected in every detail of the interior, and these details will be the most relevant. In many ways, my projects are based on a careful selection of colors, fashionable artifacts, and decorative techniques. At the same time, I believe that good design is always a little above fashion, or, as they like to say in Europe, timeless. I understand how important the feeling of home is; how important it is that it has no boundaries. And I give this priceless feeling.” The clients of this project wanted to create a stylish and modern living space, but at the same time exclude the presence of “bachelor” rigidity and coldness, typical of many modern interiors. First of all, the owners wanted to see their home warm and cozy. The clients’ dreams included a spacious living room where it would be pleasant to gather with a large group and play “Elias”; a home office that could inspire even in the most inclement weather; and, of course, a bedroom – an island of serenity, where you can forget about the rest of the world. I Am Home Studio accepted this challenge with great enthusiasm. Natalia Yanson, interior designer and decorator: “The large living room is the central room in this apartment not only formally. The very idea of this space, so to speak, flew to us. The inspiration was a bright art work with birds. Behind it appeared a ceiling lamp with a natural pattern, slightly reminiscent of a nest, photo wallpaper with dry wood and a painting with feathers. Together, all this gave a hint of eco-style.” The authors of the project tried to avoid the feeling of being busy in the living room, but at the same time they managed to fill the space with a lot of interesting details. For example, the logs that seem to support the chest of drawers are in fact purely decorative objects, since the chest of drawers is attached to the wall and does not need support. Another eye-catching detail of the living room is the dynamic 3D panel behind the TV. It seems to set the rhythm of the entire environment. The suspended ceiling visually separates the dining roomarea from the living room and at the same time visually lowers the ceiling a little and adds coziness to the space. The textile design of the living room also works to create a warm home atmosphere: pillows, sofa upholstery, carpet. The dining area in this project does not give the impression of an "appendage" to the kitchen at all. Unusual chairs and bright decor encourage you to linger here longer. The kitchen in this apartment is small but functional. It has everything you need and everything unnecessary is hidden. In particular, all communications are covered with a ceiling with imitation concrete. The color scheme of the kitchen is the same as in the living room. Bardelli tiles were used for the apron.Oddly enough, it is the warmest in terms of colorThe design of the room in this project is the office. It turned out bright and very creative: the walls here are painted in contrasting shades, the loft-style shelving unit simultaneously performs the decorative function of the main accent, and an asymmetrical lamp looks down on all of this from the ceiling. Special attention is paid to the light. The design elements of the living room are also present inbedroom. For example, the photo wallpaper here is from the same Italian collection, and the most effective and fashionable technique is concrete panels that you just want to touch. On the wall at the head of the bed you can see 2 paintings. They, like the inhabitants of this room, are completely different from each other, but still cannot exist separately. This apartment managed to combine 21st century technologies and home comfort, eco-style and urbanism in its best manifestation. So, we can confidently say that the project was a success.
