By popularity and number of visitors, this festival in the "Aptekarsky garden" can be compared with the holiday of cherry blossom in Japan. By the way, sakura in the botanical garden has already blossomed, for two months before the due date. To see this spectacle with your own eyes is priceless. The festival this year will last until March 13. You will see about 200 varieties of bulbous, among which even rare varieties are represented. Just a couple of days ago, the darkest in the world tulips - Queen of Night - blossomed, now the bright, elegant tulips of The Big Embassy blossom, named after the famous trip of Peter I, who founded the "Pharmacy garden", to Western Europe in 1697. Here you can see the ancestor of varietal tulips - the "wild" tulips of Shrenk.
