French loft from Ukrainian designer - etk-fashion.com

Today you will witness something amazingtransformation of an apartment in a former factory building into an industrial loft. An architect from Ukraine will show and tell how he did it, how much effort and materials were spent and what the result was. The apartment, as you already understood, is located in France, in a city with a beautiful laconic name Anduze. The customer of the project was a free person. Free from stereotypes and prejudices. A person who does not sit still, active, who loves to travel and spend time with friends and family at home. That is why the space of the apartment is as open as possible. The customer wanted to get an interior that would not be like others. The author of the project is a young designerJulian Sadokha. He was born in the city of Drohobych, Lviv region in 1996. In 2002, he went to the first grade of secondary school. And in September 2013, Julian entered the full-time department of the Lviv Polytechnic University, where he is still studying to become an architect. Since autumn 2014 to the present, Julian Sadokha has been working as a designer and visualizer. Architecture is the meaning of life for Julian.I believe that to achieve success you need to receivepleasure from what you do. I can say with full responsibility that I am "sick" with my work and get incredible pleasure from it. Julian Sadokha The space of the apartment was increased by demolishing several partitions. And, of course, the very concept of "loft" implies a large, spacious room. The main finishing material isplaster. The floor also plays an important role: varnished white boards were used, laid not end to end. All this made the interior unique and somewhat extraordinary. In the living room, as in the bedroom, was usedspot lighting based on two rails. In the guest room, near the sofa, there is a floor lamp that gives soft light, and a small table lamp, which is intended for reading.Light in the kitchen is provided by two large lamps suspended above the kitchen table. The shape of all the lamps was selected taking into account the features of the loft-style interior. The color palette is monochrome and, accordingly, consistent in all rooms. There are no powerful color accents in the interior. The shape of each object is differentconciseness, restraint. Fabric, wood, glass and various decorative accessories were selected taking into account all the little things. After all, allowing ill-considered "moves" is not in my style. Everything must be elegant, it cannot be otherwise! Julian SadokhaDetails from the industrial past - beams, pipes, concrete and brick — give this apartment a special charisma. The presence of each item is justified. All proportions are verified. Concrete, brick, glass and iron prevail in the interior. Everything is simple and functional. This project was not easy at all. But I am sure that it was a success. Julian Sadoha
