Five-room apartment in Bryusov Lane: interior made of glass and concrete – etk-fashion.com

Have you ever seen an apartment that is equallydegree combines two different interior styles at once? No? Then today you will be pleasantly surprised to see a designer masterpiece from the virtual architecture laboratory. To begin with, let's say that the customers of the apartment are a family of businessmen. They wanted to get the most open, modern space using materials such as glass and concrete. The project was undertaken by: chief architect Dmitry Kulish, architect Anton Semikin and project manager Anna Karpova. And now let's see how the LVA-INTERIOR team managed to implement the wishes of the customers. LLC LVA-INTERIOR "Virtual Architecture Laboratory" was founded in 2001. For fifteen years, LVA-INTERIOR has been conducting research in the field of architecture, dealing with solving architectural problems in the formation of the living environment using artificially created measures and templates that imitate the aesthetic and constructive function of space elements. One of the fundamental principles of LVA-INTERIOR is the maximum manifestation of the physical sensation of time and space. labva.ru The central volume of the apartment was given over to a combined kitchen, living room and dining area. From the entrance door itself, a view opens onto a spacious room with stained glass windows along the entire wall. The private block of the master bedroom, bathroom and dressing room adjoins the common space on the right, and the study is located on the left. The common area is divided functionally along the borderkitchen. The dining area and the soft zone are placed closer to the front of the windows, and the kitchen work area is opposite, in the depth of the room, and raised to the podium. The ceiling is lowered, and this additionally emphasizes the zoning. This part is completed with a dynamic structure made of snow-white Corian, thanks to which it seems that the entire kitchen area together with the island is on a kind of stage.White was chosen as the dominant color.Particular expressiveness was achieved thanks to the contrasting combination of different textures: snow-white, glossy Corian and the matte surface of the solid wood flooring in the living room and dining room. Against this background, the ultra-modern shapes of the Edra sofa, armchairs and chairs, as well as the “alien” lamp by Zaha Hadid above the dining table act not so much as pieces of furniture as art objects or exhibits in a museum of modern design. The master bedroom has a cozy atmosphereseverity and asceticism. There is nothing superfluous in it, in the center is a bed from the Ceccotti factory upholstered in rough leather; opposite, along the window is a chest of drawers and porthole lamps that descend from the concrete ceiling. The wall at the head of the bed is decorated with a panel of sawn Lime Stone. LED lighting additionally emphasizes the plasticity of the wall and the rough texture of the material. And a glass sliding partition separates the bedroom from the bathroom, thereby expanding the space of two rooms at once. The office, unlike the rest of the interior, is designed indark, lead-gray tones. The concrete walls and ceiling are left unfinished, the surfaces are only fixed with a special varnish. Massive slabs of black slate lie on the floor, emphasizing the brutal spirit of the room. And along the window, from which a beautiful view of the city opens, a worktop made of glued glass seems to float. The surface of the adjoining library structure is made of the same glued glass. The light of the spotlights, refracting in the thickness of this layered cake of many glass plates, transformed the wall into a flowing waterfall. Also, a round, snow-white leather reading bed from the famous Edra factory fits very organically into this atmosphere. The theme is developed in the bathroom decorationnatural shades. The central place in the composition is occupied by an unusual bathtub from Villeroy&Boch, its shape is very reminiscent of a font. The wooden frame of the bathtub organically echoes the base of the sinks.
