An interesting example of New Year's decor in a house near Moscow - etk-fashion.com

etk-fashion.com continues to create a New Year's mood both on the site and in your homes. Today, together with Alena Timofeeva, we will tell you how to create a New Year's interior in the English classic style with elements of rococo. Sounds intriguing, doesn't it? Let's start by telling you a short background story of the origin of one amazing New Year's interior. A young couple contacted the Fazenda program with a request to help them decorate the living room of their country house. The girl liked the stone finish, and the man was drawn to wood. As a result, the living room was empty. However, architect and designer Alena Timofeeva came to the guys' aid. And what came of it, see below. It is noteworthy that the house was originallya converted wooden bathhouse with a stone extension. It later turned out that there was also a concrete base, which was perfect for making a fireplace. This is how the designer came up with the idea of combining two styles: the classic English style and chinoiserie (a branch of rococo using stylistic techniques from medieval Chinese art).Alena Timofeeva Graduate of the Faculty of DesignMGHPU named after S. G. Stroganov, Alena Timofeeva has been designing private and public spaces since 2006. The designer-architect has dozens of interiors under her belt: private apartments, cottages and townhouses, offices, offices, exhibition spaces. Alena has her own firm — Studio FD. studiofd.ru I always build the interior architecture in detail, and then complicate it and fill it with details. Only in the fusion of high-quality design and precise stylistic solutions is a unique interior born. Alena Timofeeva, designer-architect, head of Studio FDLet's look at the interior from the bottom up:The floor is made of modular oak parquet with stylish concrete inserts. The stone part of the living room has grey cornices, mouldings frame the windows, and the accent is a wall with silky wallpaper with an oriental print. The mood has been set, now it is necessary to properly organize the zoning and arrange the furniture.A pair of winged chairs, a coffee table, a chest of drawers with images of old frigates and a low hanging lamp form a functional reading area.Sofa in fashionable blue velvetand a coffee table were located at one end of the living room, a massive wooden sideboard with applied forged details - at the other. The space between these zones was occupied by an oval dining table on a classic leg, and chairs of different styles were arranged around it.The main accent of the interior is the bright red fireplace stove, standing on a “carpet” of Mettlach tiles. The low ceiling became a textured accent. The walls of the hallway are decorated with plaster panels, and their ornament echoes the wooden ceiling. The basis of the entire interior is decorative techniques and stylizations. All the details complement each other, reminiscent of complex oriental ligature. I would call this interior "New Year's box". Alena Timofeeva, designer-architectThe textiles completed the decoration - densetextured damask as the main curtains, with a piping of wine and terracotta velvet and a playful tartan trim along the top. The tulle is a natural-colored French cambric. All the fabrics are specially selected with a good reserve of length, thanks to which they lie luxuriously on the floor in folds. All that remains is to add the festive table setting. We did not deviate from tradition, so the tree has a classic set of toys and decorations. Dolls in silk dresses, classic crystal dishes, traditional wreaths and, of course, many candles in candlesticks served as the finishing touches to the New Year's decor. We thank Alena Timofeeva for helping to create not only New Year's decor, but also a New Year's mood. Decorate your home with etk-fashion.com.
