When decorating a spacious house, the designer has an excellent opportunity to achieve an interesting result with the help of professional skills and a flight of imagination. When arranging a small-sized house, it is much more difficult to achieve the desired effect, because the imagination is strictly limited by the small area and layout, which often cannot be changed: a room, a tiny bathroom and a mini-kitchen. The main problem of design in this case is the difficulty in highlighting the zones necessary for comfortable living. The illusion of a spacious room is created by interior designers through the efficient use of every square meter of space. Initially, on the site of this apartment there was a tiny bedroom, barely accommodating an ordinary bed, a small living room, and a tiny kitchen. The designers were required to stylishly and elegantly decorate the interior of a small apartment, creating comfortable conditions for the family living in it. To increase the area of the kitchen and living room, it was decided to demolish the wall separating the entrance area. A spacious comfortable sofa was placed in the corner intended for receiving visitors, and a small cozy sofa was placed in the kitchen area, near the window.
The entire interior of this small apartmentis decorated mainly in pure white. This is an ideal option for a small room, because in this color scheme even the smallest room will seem spacious, filled with air and light.
The most suitable style in the design of a smallThe interior of the room is usually considered minimalism. It allows you to get by with a minimal set of furniture and does not overload the space with unnecessary details. As elements that “expand” the space, the designers used mirrors. In addition to white walls and light shades of furniture, glossy doors were installed.
Very appropriate decorative accents were achievedarrange with the help of elements of black color. Not far from the sofa there is a nice openwork table. One of the walls is decorated with a decorative panel, painted with horizontal white and gray stripes. No less successful detail of the decor were the straight lines of the dark floor lamp.
It was possible to visually increase the area of the mini-kitchendue to another design technique. The reflections of the glossy facades of the furniture seem to “break” the picture, blur its clear contours and create a certain illusion of space.
Kitchen chairs in blackare assembled from several thin metal rods. They are a very light structure and do not clutter the room at all. These interesting decorative additions contrast well with the light walls and floor. The rather massive white legs of the table almost dissolve into the general background.
This apartment has a very small bedroom,That is why the designer chose a rather unusual place for it. The comfortable and spacious double bed transforms into a narrow closet standing near the wall during the day. It is very easy to unfold. This transformable bed allows you to change the interior beyond recognition with each assembly.
Like the entire apartment, the bedroom is decorated in light colors.
The more than modest area of the room allowedfind a place for a work area. In order to save space, a miniature office was placed between the window and the bed. It perfectly accommodates a small white desk, a comfortable gray chair, and several shelves for office supplies, documents, and books.
To visually expand the spaceThe developers successfully used another design technique in the apartment - the so-called "free floor". Everything that was possible was raised up, including the sleeping area.
All plumbing in the bathroom was also removed.floor surface. In the toilet, they installed a hanging sink of an unusual shape and a similar white toilet. Floating in the air, they create the illusion of free space in the room.
Almost all the space in the tiny bathroom was previously occupied by a bathtub. To transform the apartment into the most comfortable and modern space, it had to be removed.
The impression of a free floor works anda shower stall without a tray. On one side it is separated by a glass door, on the other – by a wall. A rather complex drainage system is laid under the floor.
Large sparkling water heater,made of stainless steel, it performs two functions at once: drying clothes and heating the bathroom. This allowed us to remove the bulky heated towel rail from the room and save space.
So, in order to furnishsmall-sized apartment in accordance with all the wishes of the customers, you need to carefully think through every detail and functionally use all the elements available in the room. And then even a small apartment will become visually spacious and comfortable for living.
