What else do you need a balcony for, if not for thinking andmeasured conversations? That's what interior designer Lyudmila Verba decided, turning her own balcony into a cozy corner for inspiration Lyudmila Verba, designer, graduate of the International School of Design and the British school RODEC, leading designer of the KAVER DESIGN studio. Lyudmila Verba is a professional designer. She spends a lot of time in her studio, so she always dreamed of a place where she could take a break from the hustle and bustle and focus on her thoughts. And Lyudmila paid attention to her balcony: it is open, its area is 5 sq. m. The designer lives in a brick-monolithic house in the village of Zarechye in the Odintsovo district. The village itself is very green, and from the 8th floor, where Lyudmila's apartment is located, there is an excellent view of the forest. It creates the feeling that you are in nature. And, of course, the owner really wanted to let her into her home - to connect the balcony with this landscape, so that without leaving the apartment, she could have a cup of coffee with her family "in a gazebo filled with the aromas of flowers in the middle of the forest." It took a minimum of effort, and the result exceeded all expectations. The designer decided to protect herself from the sun and bad weather with the help of awnings - a convenient and universal solution. The fabric for them was selected taking into account the color scheme of not only the future interior, but also the facade of the building, because one should not forget about the exterior. It was decided to cast a cast on the window facing the balconyuse as a small bar counter, because it does not steal precious space and already exists. It was enough to get rid of the "native" iron window sill and buy tiles (so as not to disturb the scale - small in size, but bright enough, in the Mediterranean style). It became an accent in the recreation area. And on the improvised bar counter, Lyudmila placed candles. In this house, they really like to light them in the evenings. Then it was time to buy furniture. Wooden and bamboo require special care and storage space for the winter, so the choice fell on wicker furniture made of synthetic material. It is very comfortable and beautiful, does not require special care, and you can leave it for the winter. The main element remained - flower pots. Rectangular flowerpots were hung on the fence. Bright plants diluted the calm colors of the space and filled the air with a wonderful aroma. They successfully complement the landscape outside the window and partially hide the private territory from the views of neighbors. With the help of these techniques, it was possible to create a magical atmosphere where the designer enjoys spending time.
