Our hands are not for boredom: we decorate the staircase in the Moroccan style

Summer always means a good mood.To extend it throughout the year, try adding a trendy exotic accent in the style of hot countries to the interior. For example, decorate the stairs in Moroccan style. Details - in our master class Summer is the best time to decorate your home. Therefore, we continue to share with you interesting master classes that tell you how to quickly and inexpensively refresh the interior with your own hands. Today we will talk about the stairs. If you are a fan of African interior motifs or just love floral patterns, the decor method we suggest will not leave you indifferent. A charming Moroccan-style pattern and elegant color transitions will make your stairs a bright and original accent of the interior.

You will need:

  • stencils (they can be found on the Internet);
  • brushes;
  • paint (in our case - three shades of blue plus white);
  • glue (spray);
  • masking adhesive tape.

First, you should paint the surfaces underneathin steps in one or more colors. It does not matter whether you will use a special roller or a brush; the main thing is that it is comfortable for you. Do not forget to protect the adjacent areas from paint. To do this, stick masking tape around the perimeter of the work surface. After the paint dries, you can start applying the pattern. Fix the stencil to the work surface. This can be done with masking tape or a small amount of glue diluted with water.Then apply contrasting paint with a thick brush or sponge. Be careful: it should not go beyond the edges of the stencil, because then the pattern will look sloppy.Now your staircase is unrecognizable!The only "minus" of such decor may be the fact that you will want to decorate the entire room in a fashionable Moroccan style. And this decision will definitely entail additional expenses!eternamenteflaneur.blogspot.com
