Three months were allocated for the renovation of this apartment. It's hard to believe, but interior designer Stepan Bugaev did an excellent job. You can find out how he did it and whether it's possible to combine a loft with a classic from our article This project can easily be compared to science fiction blockbusters. The mission seemed impossible: interior designer Stepan Bugaev had to do a huge amount of work in just 3 months. Varvara Chesnokova, designer Born in Vladimir. After 9th grade, she entered the Vladimir Aviation Mechanical College, design department, and after 2 years, she transferred to the Vladimir State Humanitarian University. A few years ago, she moved to Moscow. Customer's wishes The customer of this project is a young mother. And her apartment is located in a monolithic brick building in the center of Moscow. There are three-meter-high ceilings decorated with stucco and a beautiful panoramic view from the windows. In general, when the girl bought the apartment, it had already been standardly renovated, there was furniture and everything necessary for life. But its appearance did not match the taste of the new owner. She wanted something in the spirit of loft and classic at the same time. Therefore, this was the main wish: for the apartment to sparkle with new colors, for the new owner to be comfortable and pleasant to be in. And it was also necessary to meet the incredible deadlines - 3 months. Varvara Chesnokova, designer: "It was decided to keep only the layout, piece oak parquet and stucco on the ceilings and add modern furniture, lighting and brick. We changed the color scheme, instead of a bulky bathtub we arranged a luxurious hammam and took into account all the needs of the owner when designing dressing rooms and bedrooms." Living room Living roomdecorated with Baldini plaster. And the central part of the room with a niche is decorated with intentionally aged brick. Sofas and armchairs by Cassina (author of the collection – Le Corbusier). The sliding system System is unnoticeable, but verysuccessfully separates the living room from the kitchen without overloading the space. By the way, it was decided to buy only ready-made furniture. Since the production time for custom-made furniture exceeds the three months that the designers had to meet. Varvara Chesnokova, designer: “The previous renovation was done quite well, but 8 years have passed, and everything is simply outdated. Therefore, we had to change the plumbing and lighting fixtures. And we decided not to make custom-made furniture, since the production time exceeds the 3 months allotted to us.” Bedrooms Furniture for children helpedThe guys from Il Loft are doing it. And the most unique piece of furniture here is the changing table: it has a pad that can be removed if necessary, so the table can be used as a desk when the child grows up. The main bedroom is done in soft pastel colors, so it is immediately clear that the owner here is a woman. The walls are finished with decorative plaster Baldini with a glossy effect. The Visionnaire bed with a high headboard makes a wonderful duet with the Tab tables made of glossy steel. Difficulties in implementation Of course, the mosta big difficulty - strict deadlines for the project. But the designers successfully met them. They also fulfilled the customer's second wish - to combine two completely different styles. However, according to them, this was not as difficult a task as the need to achieve laconicism and completeness of the interior. Our opinion:— Combining two styles in an interior often seems like a very difficult task. And beginners, indeed, often fail to do everything right the first time. But there are several golden rules that will help in implementing this idea: 1. You can combine different styles into a single whole using the color scheme of the interior. Even if you choose classic and hi-tech, they will look good in gray, beige, or any other soft color. 2. The most successful combination option will be a combination of those styles that have at least one common line. It could also become the transition boundary. 3. One of the styles should prevail over the other. This rule also makes it easier to combine styles. Having chosen one as a basis, the second can be brought in by adding furniture or decor elements. As for carrying out repairs in a short time, here, of course, you need to have an experienced team of builders and, if possible, buy all the furniture from expositions or order it from Russian manufacturers in order to complete everything on time.
