Project of the week: how to make an apartment comfortable and fashionable

Today we will show you an apartment that hasa place for bright design, cozy bedrooms, and a charming children's room. And there are also many wonderful ideas that are worth taking a closer look at if you are planning to do repairs. This interior was created on the border of art and dreams. It combines classics and suprematism (an avant-garde movement in art), forms from the 60s of the last century and modern materials, bright colors and nostalgic painting. Alexey Afanasyev, architect Lecturer at the Department of Architecture of the South Ural State University. The living room seems to have come from an avant-garde canvas: on a classically decorated background - three colors (white, red, black), bold combinations of shapes, textures and materials. Straight lines, classic shapes, brightshades, three primary colors - black, white and red - are taken from Suprematism, complex bright forms migrated from the 60s, there is bold and slightly nostalgic painting here. It may seem that living room itemschosen at random - they are very different in style and shape. But look how organically they look together. The rug pattern is repeated on the TV stand, the pillow with the Union Jack echoes the armchair half a meter from the sofa, and the tables with wire bases seem to be specially selected to match the dining chairs. The children's room, in contrast to the living room and the hallway, is created exclusively on delicate color combinations. The theme of Suprematism continues in the corridor, and in the hallway it is transformed into a loft. Another striking move is the red kitchen, located in that very corridor. In the bedrooms, avant-garde motifs come to an endno, giving way to pastel shades and a dreamy romantic mood. Look how interestingly the stucco is used here: its rosettes decorate the textile panels on the bedroom walls. And the sconces are not sconces at all, but lamps hanging on chains with large tassel bases.
