French designer Sarah Lavoineloves to create color accents. In this interior, shades of blue and light blue not only dilute the essentially black and white interior, but also serve the benefit of the main idea of the project.
The idea itself is quite simple:Lavouan, taking advantage of the architectural features of the space, inscribed into the volume of the city apartment... a ship. Of course, the ship itself is not even partially present here; the ship appears in the interior rather as its character, a certain stylistic idea.
The author decided to be original and not to turnwindows into portholes, instead the designer decorated the slopes of the dormer windows with mirror sheets. To be honest, we have never seen such a technique, but it turned out very cool. The mirrors reflect and thus multiply the sunlight.
The deck-style floor is covered with painted boards, the walls are decorated with paintings and photographs, including those with marine themes.
